This mailing list is a very effective way to communicate with other biology instructors at ISU, Iowa community colleges or Iowa high schools. It can be used to send announcements, ask questions, share ideas, hold group discussions and so forth.
News about Project BIO will be posted here and also at the Project BIO web site.
Send an email message to project-bio-request@iastate.edu. In the body of the message put:
Any text in the subject line will be ignored. Note that the address used to subscribe to the mailing list is different than that used to post a message to the list. Also, do not append a signature at the end of the email message.
If you ever want to remove yourself from this mailing list, send the following command in email to "project-bio-request@iastate.edu":
Simply send an email message to project-bio@iastate.edu. It will automatically be posted to everyone subscribed to the mailing list.
Note that the address used to post a message to the mailing list is different than that used to subscribe to the list.
Majordomo understands several commands, and is not limited to a single command per message (it will process commands until reaching end-of-message or the command "end"). Information about these other commands can be obtained by issuing the command "help" in the body of an email message to project-bio-request@iastate.edu.
