- Write a report about a protein or your choice. The length
of the report should be about 300 words. Your report should
include, but is not limited to, the following information:
- Biological function of the protein
- Primary structure of the protein
- Examples of organisms that express the protein
- Location(s) of the protein within the organism
- Class participation
- Post a question or comment about at least 1 report
submitted by another class member.
- Reply to any questions posted about your report.

- Newspaper or magazine articles
Citations
All references and sources used in your report
MUST be cited
in the body of the paper, and a list of these references
MUST be

How to submit your
report
Submit your report to the ClassNet discussion forum
under the topic "Submit Proteins Assignment". Here are
instructions for doing that:
- Write and edit the report using a word processing program
such as Microsoft Word or Word Perfect.
- At the end of each paragraph insert the text "<P>"
without the quotes.
- Copy the report and past it into the "Message" block of the
ClassNet message submission form.
- Complete the rest of the form in the usual manner
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the button
labeled "HTML" under the heading "Formatting options for
message:"
- Finish submitting the message in the usual way.
