NOTE: The window shown below shows was taken from Gen 308/508. The other courses are very similar in appearance expect that the RealAudio Player Frame and the Player Volume are present together in a separate window. All operations work the same in all courses.

To make more space for the lecture slides, we recommend that you turn off the location and directory buttons by unchecking those items in Netscape's options menu. We recommend that the toolbar be remained checked because it provides useful buttons. [See Image]
Here is the listing of lecture slides showing slide number and title. You will use this frame to change slides during the lecture. You can start at the beginning and go through the slides sequentially. The instructor will tell you when to change slides. Alternatively, you can randomly access the slides along with the appropriate audio presentation. This allows you to start in the middle of the lecture presentation or to go back and review individual slides. [See Image]
After you click on a slide in the menu the page will load in the slide frame. This is where all the lecture material will be located. [See Image]
Audio Button
If you are accessing the lecture part way through use the audio button to begin the audio at the slide you're at. Once you click on the icon the real audio player frame will reload. Then you can click on the play button in the real audio player frame to begin the audio.
This frame allows you to control the audio portion of the lecture. [See Image]
Play/Pause Button
Click the play button to begin the audio. If you want to pause the lecture at any point press the button again and the audio will pause at that point. Pausing will be useful when a slide is taking a long time to load.
Stop Button
If you press the stop button the audio will stop. When you press "play" the audio will start from the beginning.
Slider
As the audio lecture proceeds the slider will move to the right indicating how far you've proceeded since you pressed "play" from a stopping point. You can use the slider to fast forward and reverse through large portions of the audio.
Reverse/Fast Forward
If you want to fast forward or reverse through a small portion of the audio use these two buttons.
