• This is a world wide club for the biological and medical community, covering all areas of biotechnology and genetical engineering. • This World Wide Web site has an Education Resources page with links to many valuable biotechnology education resources at World Wide Web and Gopher sites.
• BIOTECHNOLOGY EDUCATION: A List of National and Local Contacts is a guide to assist secondary school teachers, undergraduate instructors, and others who are developing biotechnology curricula. The Texas Biotechnology Teacher Enhancement project

• "BTEP is a 3 year, 1.6 million dollar National Science Foundation (NSF) project sponsored by Texas A&M; University for the purpose of training high school Biology I teachers in the principles and techniques involved in genetic cloning. This is accomplished by the participation of teachers in 1 or 2 hour awareness sessions presented at professional meetings, 24 hour workshops at the district level, and a 3 week Summer Institute on the Texas A&M; campus. Teachers participating in the Summer Institute are utilized as resource agents to conduct 24 hour workshops in their district and to present awareness sessions."
