Ailanthus altissima (Tree-of-heaven): Fruit
		The fruit is a samara and has a central case containing one dry seed surrounded by a long, twisted, propeller-shaped wing for wind dispersal. The seeds are pink, reddish or yellow-brown, persisting in dense clusters on the tree from August through November.
